Bournemouth express passing Eastleigh at very high speed -well into the the region of 80mph. It was doing some rocking as it approached and was a stirring sight to the party of schoolboys on the platform. No 34028 ‘Eddystone’ had been rebuilt 8/58 and survived until 5/64.
