The location I could find on old maps is just south of Winchester. This was not electrified until 1967 Bournemouth electrification although 3rd rail would start to appear by around 1966 but not before the through roads had been relaid with CWR. These DMUs worked at least some the Reading - Portsmouth services at the date stated with the negative.
