North Eastern Railway designed Worsdell 'J27' class 0-6-0 No. 65894. Built at Darlington in September 1923 as LNER No. 2392, withdrawn in September 1967 and preserved.

This is the quiet and peaceful Gilling Station in Ryedale seen before its final closure in July 1964 (passenger traffic ceased in 1953). Fortunately for us all, preserved 65894 can still recreate pick-up goods scenes like this at the NYMR.
