65882 is coming off the single track branch line from Silksworth Colliery with a loaded train, whilst another 0-6-0 waits to enter the branch with a train of empties. The two lines in the foreground led to Ryhope Colliery which had closed in November 1966. I think the box name was Silksworth.

With a clean locos and the bobby coming out of the box to pose it is almost certainly very close to the end of NER steam
