Marylebone 1964-06-09
A quiet moment at the last terminus station to be opened in London. This is the ex-Great Central Railway Marylebone Station, an extremely unassuming affair that was opened on 15th March 1899. It remains the only London Terminus that is not electrified. Just look at those neat and litter-free platforms and the period BR motor vans on the left. Tuesday 9th June 1964. © Steve Armitage Archive
