Ex-Highland Railway Jones 'L' or 'Skye Bogie' (LMS 1P') class 4-4-0 No. 14283. Built at Lochgorm in November 1896 as HR No. 6 and withdrawn in August 1929.

Just nine of this class were built at Lochgorm Works over the period 1882 to 1901 principally for working the route to Kyle of Lochalsh. This is where we see 14283 on shed in 1925 wearing her sparkling new LMS crimson livery that suited her particularly well.
