GWR City 4-4-0 No 3440 City of Truro on an eight coach Swindon to Kingswear excursion. This is Horse Cove and the train is emerging from the short Clerk's tunnel between Dawlish and Teignmouth on 19 May 1957.

The tunnels from Dawlish heading south towards Teignmouth are; Kennaway/Coryton/Phillot/Clerk's/Parsons.
This shot of City of Truro appears to be at the classic spot where early holiday posters were taken with the small rock stack in the background.
