One of the two Ex-NBR J36 0-6-0s with cut down boiler mountings shedded at Kipps, No 65287 in January 1962. The modification allowed the engines to work the Gartverrie branch which contained a very low and narrow overbridge (clearance just 11’1”). No 65287 built 1896; w/d June ’63.
