J36 0-6-0 No 65345 at Thornton Junction shed in September 1966.
It was not withdrawn until 5th June 1967 being one of the final pair. Here it is in steam having a buffer stop behind the tender and an old sleeper stopping forward motion as it used as a stationary boiler. However it was returned to service soon after this photo was taken (being replaced by a J38), for duties at Seafield Colliery.
