NBR J36 0-6-0 No 65304 on a goods travelling east and has just crossed the River Spey (in the distance) and is approaching Nethy Bridge at an unknown date. It carries a late crest and a 61C Keith shed plate which dates it before July 1961 when it moved to Aberdeen. There are high level power cables crossing the scene between the loco and the photographer.
