BR Peppercorn 'K1' class 2-6-0 No. 62062. Built by NBL of Glasgow in Jan. 1949 and withdrawn in May 1967. October storm clouds gather in 1966 as 62062 approaches near Cambois in Northumberland. In fact as I took the photograph, the rear of the train was already getting a hefty soaking, as was I by the time I got back to my car! The position of the overhead cables annoyed me at the time, but now I realise they made a good 'frame'!
