Stanier 2-6-4T No. 42616 on the electrified side of Caledonian Road & Barnsbury station with a westbound train in September 1963. North British Locomotive Company built in 1937, No. 42616 was at Watford from September 1961 until 1965 and had been fitted with the AWS needed for operation in the London area during February 1962. It ended its days on the North Eastern Region, at Low Moor from May 1967 until withdrawn in September.
