Stanier 2-6-4T No. 42559 departing from Fleetwood with the 2.30pm Fleetwood to Preston on Saturday 13th May 1961. The tank was allocated to Lower Darwen and had been there since October 1947. Fleetwood station closed in 1966 and was replaced by the nearby Wyre Dock station, which was renamed Fleetwood.
