LMS 4P 2-6-4T Stanier No 42671 with a Crewe train leaving Derby on 23 March 1957. I cannot work out exactly where this is with its trailing crossover and house so close to the line, by a process of elimination I am fairly sure that this is at the original Egginton station (closed 1878 ) not to be confused with Egginton Junction. It closed when the GNR extension arrived and so was superseded by the Junction station.
