C class 31716 arriving over the scissors crossing into the main platform at Allhallows on 30th September 1961, hauling Maunsell pull-push set 619. Note that the impressive signal gantry allows direct access into both platforms and both run-round loops. The edging stones of the turntable (long since removed) are just visible on the extreme left.
