Peter Kerslake adds "In pristine lined black livery Cambridge shed's 62618 is fresh from Stratford Works following a Casual / Light overhaul in late 1954. Whilst allocated to Cambridge much earlier in the 1930s 8787 as it then was became one of two 'Claud Hamiltons' designated to work Royal Trains between Kings Cross and Cambridge via Hitchin. 62618 was withdrawn in November 1959 from March."
