Peter Kerslake says "Claud Hamilton 62613 had undergone its last overhaul at Stratford in April and May 1957 before ending its days there following withdrawal in October 1960.
Entering service at the end of June of 1923 it "did the rounds" of depots, spending time at Stratford, Southend, Colchester, Norwich, Yarmouth and Peterborough before being condemned from March."
