D16 4-4-0 No.62615 heads a line of stored D16s at Cambridge on 19th May 1957.


Peter Kerslake adds "Still officially in service Claud Hamilton 62615 was restored to work at March in June and remained there until being condemned in October 1958. Ssomeone has attempted to restore former glories of the burnished smokebox door with some white paint , very neatly applied to the number plate as well!"
