GER D15/1 4-4-0 No 8821 passes Romford with a Liverpool Street to Walton on the Naze express in August 1931.
Peter Kerslake says "Claud Hamilton 8821 was built in July 1909 and during its 49 years in service was allocated to seven depots before being withdrawn from March in July 1958. At the date of this view it would have been shedded at Stratford."
