Peter Kerslake says "Sunshine and shadows but not much station roof left with Cambridge's 62571 on the inter varisty city service dating from late 1950 until 1957 and instituted when new duties were being sought for the survivng "Claud Hamiltons" which were still fully operational despite their ageing years. 62571 entered service in July 1909 with the Great Eastern Railway as 8820 and ending its days at Lincoln in January 1959."
