LBSCR Brighton Works 1870c

LBSCR Brighton Works 1870c

LBSCR Works panorama by Bramwell. Part of this photo was published in the magazine Model Railways about 1971 and showed what was believed to be coke wagons with corrugated iron sides (behind the water crane). I now believe these to be slatted wooden sides. The PO coal wagons are from Booth Brothers of Eastwood. The tiny horseboxes are Nos 37, 117 and 67(?) and there are open carriage trucks in front of them Nos 20, 40, 43 and 77

I would love someone to confirm the date based on the background houses - there are two windmills on the hillside!
