Peter Kerslake says "Whilst working at Kings Lynn in late 1954 and early 1955 I made a Saturday trip to Hunstanton and this was my best effort of the day , with Claud Hamilton 62534 setting off down the branch back to Kings Lynn.
Being a terminus there was a turntable ocated to the left of the picture.
I wish that I had broken my journey either on the way, or on my return, at the delightful station at Wolferton, which was the Royal Station for the Sandringham estate, and about mid way, but unfortunately I did not do so.
The North Sea is just visible on the left horizon , and it was bitterly cold that Winter, with snow lying on the ground at Kings Lynn for weeks on end."
