To the right of the incoming Cravens DMU is a 'No Road' enamed sign, rather than a Passengers must not cross the lines sign.
This 'No Road' sign is to stop passengers crossing the tracks; exit from the platform is through a gap in the fence just off the photograph to the right and then down a flight of steps to ground level. (The station is high on an embankment, hence the wooden platforms to keep down the weight).
