43080 1961 Boston

The first Darlington built engine for the ER and M&GN operation, 43080 in 1961 at Boston is unlined with the small BR crest and still has its tablet exchange apparatus. It was transferred to Boston in December 1957 when Spalding came under that shed?s jurisdiction and remained there until the end of 1962 when it moved to Colwick, from where it was withdrawn in June 1965.
