Ivatt 4MT 2-6-0 No.43156 leaving West Hallam with a three-coach local, probably during 1960 since Stanley colliery is still open. It had arrived at Colwick in February 1960 from Norwich and would be followed by another twenty or so over the next three or four years. No.43156 had originally been one of the large group on the M&GN line and still has its tablet exchange apparatus in place on the tender.
