43144 at Doncaster, ex-works in newly applied plain black with small BR crest, probably when it was fitted with AWS in May 1961. It was one of the M&GN 4MTs sent to Neasden in 1953/4, returning to South Lynn and going to Stratford on its closure. It joined many of its classmates at Boston in November 1960, staying until the end of 1963 when it moved to New England and then Barrow Hill a year later.
