43025 1960s Sutton Oak
Sometime in the mid-1950s after its original double chimney had been replaced by a single chimney in April 1954, Ivatt ‘4MT’ No. 43025 is at its home shed of Sutton Oak. It would depart for Workington in January 1957, the class being replaced by BR Standard ‘4MT’ 2-6-0s as the staple motive power in the area.
