One of the third batch of the " 7240 class " rebuilds by Collett from the original Churchward "4200 " series of 2-8-0 locomotives , 7252 has the new front end with its raised footplating over the new cylinders , and is seen here looking to be fresh from a Swindon Works visit and working on the Avon Valley line between Bathampton and Westbury, a long way from her Barry home shed , and most likely on a " Running In " duty before going back to Wales.
