The photographer recorded this as a Willesden-Cardiff FreightlinerDavid J Hayes adds Based on recently acquired Working Time Table information, there were several Freightliner workings booked to be seen at Kensington Olympia around this period of the late 1960's. Depending on the time of day, this Wednesday dated picture could be showing one of two possible Freightliner trains from Willesden Freightliner Terminal (FLT) to South Wales, which were both booked to Run-Round (R-R) at Kenny-O (KO): 4V68, the 12:15 SSuX Willesden FLT to Swansea Danygraig FLT (R-R KO 12:27-12:44) or 4V64, the 20:35 SSuX Willesden FLT to Swansea Danygraig FLT (R-R KO 20:50-21:05). Both 'liners were booked to run via Acton Main Line after running round. It would've still been possible to photograph the latter service at Kenny-O at this time of year, especially if it was running a little earlier than booked. Danygraig FLT at this time had only just recently opened in February 1969. It is quite possible that one or both of the above mentioned Willesden services may have also called at Cardiff Pengam FLT, too.
