(from where it was booked Banking assistance to Rowley Regis), Galton Jn. and Bescot, where it paused only for a crew change (21:50-21:52 SSuX) before continuing to Stafford to join the West Coast Main Line (WCML). The service previously ran via Bromsgrove, the Sutton Park line to Walsall and the Pleck Jn. to Darlaston Jn. chord to reach the WCML at Stafford, and terminated at Crewe.
