NER class B16/1 4-6-0 No 61419 backs down to Lincoln Central before taking over the Yarmouth to York train in c1957.
Peter Kerslake says "What a nice portrait of 61419, one of many allocated at York M.P.D. in 1956 as it backs over a high running River Witham here at Lincoln with an impressive British Railways Warehouse and the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral both in view. I visited Lincoln once in mid to late 1955 and wish that I had secured a few photographs from this splendid location."
