930 1930s Filey
NER B16 4-6-0 No 930 recorded as on a Scarborough-Hull train at Filey in c1936. This train detail may be incorrect as the train is made up of LMS coaches and I would not have thought this likely at this period.
It is definitely Filey, the overall roof, timber platform extensions, and position of the coal drops confirms this. I doubt the train is a Scarborough - Hull, it's more likely a Scarborough to West Riding, or even further a field train, picking up returning holidaymakers at Filey and Bridlington, before heading over the Wolds at Driffield through Market Weighton to Selby. The engine might be changed at Selby, or even Gascoigne Wood.
