ickfords Scammell tractor M1679 BLH 21 with West Australian Government Railway diesel locomotive No X 1006 aboard the trailer for the Journey from Stockton-on-Tees to Liverpool (or Birkenhead) befere being shipped to Freemantle in 1955. The load is parked for the night (or weekend) in Huddersfield before the climb over the Pennines on the old A62 road. The ensemble was the second of a pair of Scammell 100ton outfits built in 1929.
