Ex-Great North of Scotland Railway 'Z5' class 0-4-2 Tank No. 68192. Built by Manning Wardle of Leeds in Jan. 1915 as GNoSR No.116 and withdrawn in April 1960.

Quite a few photos were taken over the years of these diminutive dock tanks plying the harbourside at Aberdeen or resting peacefully at Kittybrewster MPD. For a change, 68192 is getting to grips in April 1952 with Kittybrewster's bulky steam breakdown crane. Presumably getting it onto the turntable to face whatever may be its next callout, it is seperated from its match truck and this is the main approach road to the turntable and shed.
