Taken from Norton South Junction Signal Box. An elevated view of the same location as 60516. It also is entering the branch which gives access to the ECML at Ferryhill.

The signal box from whose steps this photo was taken was built in 1870 and is still open (2020), being the oldest operational box on Network Rail. It now controls colour light signals and the junction.
