In the new roundhouse, coupled to an ex NER tender which had originally been fitted to a NER pacific.

There were five such tenders, nos 8901-8905 attached respectively to pacific nos 2402, 01, 04, 03, 00. When the Raven locos were scrapped the tenders were transferred after refurbishment to new-build J39s Nos 1475-1479 (Later BR 64855-59) but in BR days the tenders were passed around other members of the class (and even a couple of J38s). The final possessors of the five tenders (in order) were: 64758 (10/53 -wdl), 64819 (11/51-6/60 at which point the tender was scrapped), 64778 (4/53 -wdl), 64817 (6/51-wdl) and 64846 (10/55-wdl).
