Caledonian Class 3P 4-4-0 No 54465 on the The Stephenson Locomotive Society (Scottish Area) & The Branch Line Society 'Scottish Rambler' on 23rd April 1962 crossing Eassie Burn, approaching Eassie Level Crossing with the new A94 Eassie Bridge and bypass, opened July 6, 1962, in the distance. The railtour commenced with train reporting number 220, but the numbers gradually peeled off revealing a painted 71 board.

This was the first of what were to be six successive annual Scottish Ramblers, run each Easter by the BLS and others.
