Robert Waterman confirms "Headcode 32 indicates Tonbridge to Brighton via Lewes and Uckfield although this one would have had to start from Tunbridge Wells West as the Bulleid Restriction 4 stock here was not allowed between Tonbridge and TWW which was limited to Restriction 1 (or R0). If it had come from Victoria to Brighton this way 3 coaches would not been of particular note".
