SECR H class 31530 passes with a freight. Robert Gregorysays - I believe there is a very tight timeframe for this photograph. The class 33 is a relatively late one, in service from May 1961. It looks pretty new and clean. The H class was withdrawn at the end of March 1962. So the photograph is dated between May 1961 and March 1962, as far as I can establish
