Bob Waterman has identified this location and is probably not long before Reading Southern was closed. Note the platform awnings are pure South Eastern Railway. The headcode 88 is for Tonbridge - Redhill - Reading (it was 55 in the other direction - for clarity when reversing at Redhill). The Mk1 coach set is one of the re-formed CK-BSK-TSO 3 car sets used on loco hauled at this period.
