6550 1970 Kensington Olympia
Class 33/1 No. 6550 heads for Southern Region metals with what appears to be a sand train. Sand from Cambridgeshire (ex-Fen Drayton) went via the West London Line to destinations on the Southern Region back in the 1970s, and there were also similar sand movements in the opposite direction, too, from Redhill (ex-Holmethorpe) to East London and the North West of England. No. 6550 was built in April 1961, became No. 33032 in February 1974 and was withdrawn after a collision with a Class 47 at Frome in March 1987.
