Castle class 4-6-0 No 7029 Clun Castle at Swindon with the WR 'Farewell to Steam' special on November 27, 1965.

Peter Kerslake says "I think this must be the late afternoon return run of this Special, headed by "Clun Castle" on the 27th. November, 1965 .
The run had begun at Paddington at 9:18 a.m. that morning with 7029 running to Gloucester via Bath and Bristol and returning from Gloucester the same aftenoon but just as far as here at Swindon.
7029 was past her best at this late stage of her career with B.R., losing time by Swindon on the outward run and struggling on Sapperton bank with leaking boiler tubes on the homeward run."
