Castle class 4-6-0 No 5054 Earl of Ducie passes Cockett with an up express on August 19, 1961.

Peter Kerslake says "Passing Cockett , just to the west of Swansea on the main line from Llanelli 5054 "Earl of Ducie" was allocated to Cardiff Canton at this date and later saw service at Worcester for eight months in 1964 before reaching her last home at Gloucester Horton Road from where she was withdawn in October of 1964.
The leading coach looks like a Gresley design from the Eastern Region and 5054 achieved fame just three years later from this fine 1961 view when in 1964 she was selected to run from Bristol to Paddington, the final leg of the "City of Truro" Special, just failing to achieve one hundred miles an hour but putting in a memorable performance, nevertheless."
