GWR Castle 4-6-0 No 5025 Chirk Castle with the Whitland milk train at Rumney River on 19 May 1957.

Peter Kerslake says "Expert and local cameraman Robert Tuck is at one of his most favoured locations at Rumney Bridge on the Cardiff outskirts and has expertly recorded Swindon allocated 5025 "Chirk Castle", "running in" following overhaul at Swindon works and heading the 4:10 p.m. milk train from Whitland to Kensington, the engine probably workig home just as far as Swindon.
Of interest is that milk tans numbers two, six and seven are de-mountable road tanks whilst the others are on rail mounted frames.
5025 was reallocated to Oxfford depot in 1963 then to Hereford from where it was withdrawn after just one month in November 1963."
