GWR Castle 4-6-0 No 7017 G.J.Churchward on the 9.05am Paddington-Weston super Mare (train reporting number 119) at Bristol Temple Meads on 4 August 1956.

Peter Kerslake says "It's August and the "spotters" are out in force here at Temple Meads with clothes ranging from regulation school wear evident as well as more casual gear, and one serious chap has even brought his binoculars in order to see what is on Bath Road depot.
Old Oak Common have turned out their 7017 looking its best and the towers of Temple Meads impressive frontage are just visible on the left.
7017 looks as though it's working through to Weston super Mare and not coming off here."
