Peter Kerslake adds "Passing its home shed and Newton Abbot Works on its left 4098 is non-stop on a through road as the Torbay Express did not call there in either direction. The Torbay Express rosters were shared between Old Oak Common and Newton Abbot with Castles the mainstay of those duties for many years."
