GWR Castle 5028 Llantilio Castle on an Up express east of Dawlish in 1953.

Peter Keslake says "Newton Abbot's cleaners have turned out their 5028 "Llantilio Castle" looking its finest but there's no one on the sea wall here at Dawlish to appreciate their efforts!
Newton Abbot's "Castles" were invariably well looked after, the depot housing thirteen of the class in 1956.
Judging by the coaches this looks like a "West to North" duty, some of the stock bears roof boards which indicates that a portion from the Kingswear line has been added to one fom Plymouth down the line at Newton Abbot, and 5028 may be either working just to Bristol or possibly right through to Shrewsbury."
