Peter Kerslake says " Not many 'Castles' survived into 1965 but 7029 'Clun Castle' was one and remained at Gloucester Horton Road until December of that year, spending time on a number of enthusiasts' specials as well as running on scheduled services as seen here in 1964, looking its best and clearly well in command of its passenger load. "
