GWR Castle class 4-6-0 No 7029 Clun Castle at Cardiff General with a Carmarthen to Old Oak Common ECS train on 12 May 1961.

Peter Kerslake says "In her final years with B.R. "Clun Castle" was rostered by its shedmaster at Gloucester Horton Road depot to a variety of tasks, ranging from secondary passenger turns up to Swindon from Gloucestsr and also down to Hereford and here at Cardiff, the engine also appearing on enthusiasts' specials.
A couple of lucky lads have managed to secure a footplate visit here and I suspect that 7029 will take this working just as far as Gloucester today."
