GWR Castle 4-6-0 No 5092 Tresco Abbey with M68, recorded as the 12.25 pm Manchester-Cardiff passing Pontrilas on 25 August 1962. However
Allan Pym adds "Unfortunately I don't have a Summer 1962 working time table, but I have one for 1961-62 and this shows that "M68" was carried by the 08.55 Cardiff-Manchester (London Road). The working shown here (if correct) is the 12.25 Manchester-Plymouth and, as such, ought to be carrying "V95" on the smokebox. It was scheduled to pass Pontrilas at 4.01pm."
